Nino Curia came to England 30 years ago with the dream of bringing his traditional Sicilian fayre to the North East. He and his wife Karen started Panetti's Cafe/Bistro in Bedale, North Yorkshire in 2001, after leaving Romanby Court in nearby Northallerton.
We are proud to serve traditional British and authentic Italian cuisine to the area.
Where possible we try to support the local North Yorkshire ecomomy by sourcing great quality ingredients from the area. Our fruit and vegetables are provided by Carricks of Snape, and all of our meat comes from Cockburns butchers, just across the road. Of course we also source authentic Italian ingredients from further afield!
Our comprehensive menu, which has undergone a lot of changes and expansions over the years, includes a large selection of Italian and British dishes and aside from pastas and pizzas, we also recommend our signature warm chicken salad or Sicilian meatballs. Our delicious food is even better with an Italian wine. Check our menu to find out more about our traditional and authentic dishes and wine offerings. We are also the perfect location for work or private events! We cater to your tastes and offer the perfect venue in the picturesque and historic market town of Bedale.
